Copycat Starbucks Easter Egg Frappuccino
Copycat Starbucks Easter Egg Frappuccino
Easter is right around the corner. So, I had to share my newest frappe that’s a Copycat Starbucks Easter Egg Frappuccino. It’s thick, rich and oh so delicious. East to make at home too.
If you have been on my blog before, you know how much I love making copycat recipes. Especially Starbucks copycat recipes.
The one I’m sharing with you today happens to be my newest one that I saw on their “secret menu”
For those of you that haven’t heard of that, it’s a list, a very long list of discontinued frappes and ones that the Barista’s make up themselves when requested by customers. Just like this one. The base is somewhat like the Vanilla Bean Frappuccino. Then, you’ll see what makes this a Copycat Starbucks Easter Egg Frappuccino that is so easy to make at home and always so delicious.
Even when Easter is over, you can still enjoy this frappe anytime of year. Just substitute the Easter egg chocolate candies and replace them with any kind of hard shell chocolate candy like M&Ms. That’s what’s so great about knowing these copycat recipes, you can save them to make anytime you want to. In fact, all the frappes that are on this blog can be made year round. There’s usually six ingredients or less for most of the frappe recipes and if there is something you may not find in your local grocery store, I’ll highlight them on Amazon for you to purchase there. And, we all know how easy it is to buy just about anything on Amazon these days. Also, I do try to simplify the recipes from the original recipe to make it easy and simple to make at home in your everyday blender. That’s one thing about frappes, they are all made in the blender. Even one of the portable ones. As long as it can crush ice, you are good to go. So, I hope you try this recipe along with the other copycat recipes. They are all easy to make and really good!
Copycat Starbucks Easter Egg Frappuccino
Yields: 1 Large/Grande
What’s You’ll Need To Make A Copycat Starbucks Easter Egg Frappuccino…
Ingredients:
- 1 cup whole or 2 percent milk, Almond milk, soy, or oat milk will work too
- 3/4 cup vanilla ice cream, any brand of choice will work
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar, you can leave this out if your ice cream is very sweet
- whipped cream for topping, I used aerosol from the can like Reddi-Wip, store brands work too
- 3/4 cup ice cubes, make sure they are fresh, old ice cubes will give a funny taste to the frappe
- 10 chocolate covered Easter egg candies, for this recipe I used Hershey’s (found in Target, Walmart and in some grocery stores) but, use any brand of choice (After Easter use any candy coated chocolate like M&Ms)
Just a few ingredients to deliciousness
Blending before adding in the chocolate eggs..
How you’ll make your yummy smoothie…
Just 4 easy steps..
Directions:
- In a blender, add all ingredients except whipped cream and chocolate eggs (here is a portable blender that I use when in a rush, you can take the container and lid on the go)
- If needed, stop and mix with a rubber spatula if the ice is stuck to the bottom.
- Blend until thick and smooth. When you have the thickness you like, add in the candy eggs and whirl until they’re all mixed in but you still see small pieces.
- Pour into a tall glass, add whipped cream of choice and sip away!
