Shortcut Southern Style Baked Beans

This shortcut Southern style baked beans recipe is one I made years ago while living in Atlanta. It’s now a favorite with my family and friends up in the north. Try this soon, you are sure to love it like we do!

Many years ago when living in Atlanta, I was a caterer and loved it!

My friend and I catered many baby and bridal luncheons along with office parties, barbecues, and some informal dinner parties.

A lot of the time we would serve 6 foot long hero sandwiches filled with lots of meats and cheese.

What would go best with a deli hero sandwich?

Baked beans of course.

What I love about this recipe on top of it being so yummy, it’s so easy to throw together too.

Check out my shortcut version. No need to soak any beans overnight.

You’ll love the rich flavors with the best smokey flavor from everyone’s favorite, bacon!

Just a note, these baked beans go really well with macaroni salad and coleslaw.

Check out these other two delicious and easy recipes too.

These baked beans are always a hit with family and friends. I am regularly asked to bring them to potluck dinners and any gathering such as game day.

Enjoy as a great side for during the week. Stays in the fridge for a couple of days so great for leftovers the next night. Enjoy all these recipes!
