Copycat Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte

This copycat pumpkin spice latte is so delectable and simple to make at home. There will be no need to run out and buy one anymore. You can enjoy the taste of fall all year round when you make your own copycat version.

As I’m sitting at my desk writing this recipe up to put on my blog for all of you to enjoy, I’m sipping away on this soothing pumpkin spice latte that I just made myself in just a few minutes.

I get to enjoy the taste of fall anytime I want and now so can you!

This pumpkin spice latte only comes out at Starbucks for the fall months. Usually they bring all their wonderful fall beverages and bakery items out around the beginning of September.

If you have been on this blog before, you know how many copycat Starbucks recipes there are.  Well, I just love everything Starbucks!

There is only one problem with loving all the Starbucks menu items. If I bought these delicious beverages as often as I wanted them, I would run out of money. It can get very costly to buy these on a regular basis.

That’s when I started making all my favorites at home. At first it was a daunting process. How could I possibly make these iconic drinks and bakery items that everyone loved so much and make them just as delicious? Well, it took plenty of hit or miss trials, a lot of no-goes before each and every recipe came out tasting just like the original in my opinion.

This one particular hot beverage that you are seeing today really was a simple one for me. I had the few ingredients in the house and after some trial and error, this pumpkin latte came out tasting so similar to the original. A hit with my family and me too.

FYI, I do have two pumpkin beverages already on this blog that came out so good. I get plenty of feedback from wonderful folks telling me they really enjoy making these at home and especially drinking them.

The two I’m talking about are the Copycat Starbucks Pumpkin Frappe This one is a cold beverage that’s so creamy and luscious. The other warm beverage is the Copycat Starbucks Pumpkin Pie In case you are wondering if these two hot pumpkin beverages taste the same, they really don’t. Each one is made completely differently from the other. Both are delightful but different.

So, if you are looking to save some bucks and not have to run out if you don’t have to whenever you get a craving for one of these wonderful Starbucks menu items, check out all the copycat recipes right here on my blog.  I hope you love them as much as my family and friends do.

4 ingredients with 4 simple steps to pumpkin deliciousness!

Copycat Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte

Yields: 1 large/grande latte

?????

What you’ll need to make a copycat Starbucks pumpkin spice latte…

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup espresso or strong coffee,(decaf works too) I used strong coffee for this recipe. For a bolder coffee flavor, go up to 1/2 cup
  • 1 cup milk of choice, dairy or almond milk both work well, steamed, here is my 3 Simple Steps To Steam/Froth Milk In The Microwave
  • 1/8 to 1/4 cup pumpkin syrup, here is my homemade version, it’s beyond easy to make with just a few ingredients and it’s great for many other uses like on pancakes and top of ice cream. Oh yea!  You can also buy pumpkin syrup online at Amazon (this one is closest to my homemade version) or in many grocery stores.
  • aerosol whipped cream for topping with a little sprinkle of cinnamon or cinnamon sugar on top

Here’s the four easy steps…

Directions:

  1. Prepare espresso or coffee. At the same time, steam milk, so, so simple in the microwave
  2. Pour espresso or coffee into a 16 ounce mug. Add in pumpkin syrup. Mix to combine.
  3. Gently pour in steamed/frothed milk mix well to combine.
  4. Top off with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon or cinnamon sugar, I used cinnamon sugar for this recipe.

Enjoy every last pumpkin sip!
