3 Ingredient Apple Cranberry Sauce
I love simple and easy recipes and this one is on the top of my list. A classic recipe with a twist that’s great for any or no occasion. Enjoy the sweet, tangy cranberry apple deliciousness!
It happens to be Thanksgiving tomorrow and I was just finishing up some last minute cooking and baking for my family.
My mom used to buy the cranberry sauce in the can for just about any holiday dinner even if we were not having turkey.
I have to admit, I love the canned cranberry sauce. Most people that grew up eating it also loves it or at least enjoys it with turkey.
That brings me to this really simple recipe for cranberry apple sauce.
I had a can of apple juice concentrate in the freezer along with the two bags of cranberries my daughter Tori had picked up for me during the week.
She had asked if I would make homemade cranberry sauce. I just didn’t want the usual cranberry sauce and knew it needed another punch of something.
Well, by adding the apple juice concentrate it was just what the sauce needed to round out the tangy cranberries.
Give this a try and enjoy. Mine is sitting in the fridge waiting for tomorrow’s meal.
Happy Thanksgiving to all!
