Strawberry Balsamic Delight

When you taste how refreshing and delightful this recipe  is, you will want to make it often. Only three ingredients for a most delicious strawberry balsamic  delight. Enjoy!

My husband and I were having dinner in a beautiful restaurant in New York City recently.

I wanted something light for dessert and the waiter suggested I try strawberries with balsamic glaze.

I said I had seen a similar dessert on a few menus before and always wanted to know what that would taste like but never could understand the combination between the two flavors.

Oh my gosh! It was so decadent and light all at the same time.

Here is my very easy version of this wonderful dessert. The recipe serves two but of course you can triple, etc. for a larger crowd which I have many times.

Great for potluck dinners and a healthy after school snack.

I was surprised that my kids liked this so much especially my 15 year old son.

He now makes this for himself when there are strawberries in the house.

Some days I make this for breakfast over plain Greek yogurt and some granola tossed on top which is just the icing on the cake so to speak.

You don’t know what you are missing until you try this over Greek yogurt. The combo of the tart and smooth yogurt with the sauce is what can I say? Fantastic!
