At night I use decaf coffee but during the morning while working on my computer or in the middle of the day when I want a nice pick-me-up, this is one latte I really enjoy the most.

You can enjoy this luscious latte on the rocks or just cold from the fridge. Either way, it’s just perfect. Go ahead and make yourself something special, you deserve it!

Here’s a glance at the four basic ingredients that make up this luscious Chilled Nutella Latte

Ingredients:

  • hot coffee, regular or decaf
  • Nutella
  • milk or cream of choice, I used skim for this recipe, fat free half and half works well too
  • chocolate syrup such as Hershey’s, I used sugar free, this is optional
  • aerosol whipped cream for garnish, this is optional
  • shaved chocolate or cocoa powder for garnish, optional

Two simple steps to Nutella deliciousness

Directions:

  1. While coffee is still hot, add Nutella and stir until completely melted into coffee. Place in fridge or freezer until nice and cold.
  2.  When nice and cold, take out of fridge, pour in milk. If using syrup, add in now.  Gently stir, top with optional garnish.

Recipe notes: I like my lattes that are not too sweet, if you want it sweeter, first taste when finished then, add in a packet of your favorite sweetener of choice. A few people have suggested a half packet of Splenda or Stevia, even a 1/2 teaspoon of granulated sugar may just be enough.
