Oreo Bumblebee Cookies
These Oreo Bumblebee Cookies will be the buzzzz of any party an anytime special treat. A fun to make and yummy cookie recipe everyone will love.
This time of year is not ideal for baking since it’s beyond hot outside but also inside when you put the oven on.
However, I still like making desserts for my family and friends.
As a result, I make fun no-bake desserts for my family instead.
My son Josh and I love to make and of course eat these Oreo bumblebee cookies.
Just look at how cute they are!
It’s an easy project to do with the kiddos and they taste insanely delicious.
With only five simple ingredients, including a package of Oreos, you can whip up a batch of these cuties and enjoy right away.
Or, add a few to clear cellophane goody bags and hand out to the special people in your life.
We bring these to my sisters house every summer and the kids go crazy for them.
My daughter Tori went to a fourth of July party and she made two batches of these Oreo bumblebee cookies.
She said everyone thought they were so cute and they were eaten up.
And, a bunch of her friends wrapped up one or two so they could take home to a younger sibling and even their grandparents.
She was a smart “cookie” my girl.
When Tori copied my recipe, she made about 10 copies that she was planning on giving to the host of the party and also to a few of her friends that liked dessert recipes.
The only problem, so many people asked for the recipe and she didn’t have any more copies.
The very next day, My sweet daughter emailed the rest of the bunch who asked for the recipe.
Nice to bring a plate when invited for barbecues, pool parties, knowing for sure anyone will like these bumblebees to be at their next picnic instead of a “real” bumblebee.
Because, let’s be honest, what would a picnic be without the bees?! If you are planning on a potluck dinner over the hot spring and summer months, this cookie recipe would be a hit.
Check out the fun and simple recipe below. You can copy and print the whole recipe with a photo in the recipe box which is towards the bottom of the page.
Hope you all have fun in the kitchen and enjoy!
