  • 1 cup Wilton light cocoa melting chocolate or any melting chocolate of choice, same goes for the white melting chocolate
  • 1/2 cup Wilton white or bright white melting chocolate
  • 30-35  mini candy eyes, this is incase one or two get eaten or fall on the floor
  • Remember all the highlighted ingredients should be available in craft stores such as Michael’s or Hobby Lobby

Instructions

  1. In three small microwave safe bowls, heat the candy melts on 50% power for 2-3 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until melted. Pour the chocolate one into a decorating (or Ziploc bag) and cut a small slit on the bottom corner. Set aside a rimmed cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Dunk each Oreo into the melted yellow chocolate, shaking off any excess and set them on the parchment paper to harden. When yellow cookies are hardened, dunk about ¼ of the cookies into the white melted chocolate and set onto the parchment paper. Carefully place two candy eyes on the white end of the Oreo cookies. Use the chocolate decorating bag to drizzle stripes over the yellow part of the Oreo .Let harden for at least 30 minutes. You can put them in the fridge for 10 minutes, then take out. These can be stored in the fridge sealed in a container for up to a week or on the counter stored in a sealed container up to 3 days. Enjoy!
