Frozen Strawberry Chocolate Chip Yogurt Cups

With only a handful of simple ingredients, you have delicious, creamy frozen strawberry chocolate chip yogurt cups that is sure to be a big hit!

Do you want something delicious and easy to put together that’s a frozen treat?

This is it!

Made with Greek yogurt to give an extra boost of calcium. Great for the whole family.

I have been making this recipe since 2015.

I remember it so well.

My son Josh  had just started day camp and my daughter Tori was a counselor at the same camp.

Most of the time, Josh would take the bus to and from camp because Tori had to be at camp earlier and most of the time she had to stay later for meetings.

This one day, she called me to tell me that Josh was going home with her. I know he loved when she was able to drive him home. He was eight years old then, so it was a big deal to ride with his big sis.

Tori said she was going to take him for ice cream after camp but realized she didn’t have enough money in her wallet since she didn’t like to bring money to camp.

I told her not to worry, I was going to think of something to make that would be just as delicious.

I had just gone grocery shopping earlier in the day and had bought yogurt, Cool Whip and chocolate wafer cookies thinking to make a frozen no bake cake.

The cupcake pan was staring at me when I went to get a mixing bowl and decided to make some kind of frozen cupcake dessert.

Well, these were ready when they got  home and both my kids loved them.

The recipe makes six so, I saved one for the hubby and the kids got to have another one after dinner.

Since then, I have changed the recipe quite a bit. My daughter has moved out and just finished law school and makes these the original way, my son will only have regular ice cream lately so, since I’m on Weight Watchers, I might as well make them WW friendly.

My hubby loves these too. So sometimes I change around the flavor of yogurt and to save some calories and fat I leave out the chips. They still taste so yummy. It’s a great versatile recipe, check it out and make it your own.
