Frozen Yogurt Chocolate Chip Banana Pops

Here’s a quick easy recipe for frozen yogurt chocolate chip banana pops. These are a great treat that’s fun to make with the kids and tastes scrumptious.

Warm weather if finally here! That means it’s time to get out all the yummy frozen dessert recipes.

I have been making these frozen yogurt pops for years.

My son loves them and now makes them on his own. However, he still asks me to make them for him, he says I make them better. LOL.

Yes, these are great for the kiddos but, adults love these too. Especially on a hot day.

These frozen pops are made with healthy ingredients yet, they taste so decadent.

Make a batch up and taste the cool deliciousness.

  • 3/4 cup low fat chocolate milk
  • 1 large or 2 small ripe bananas
  • 5 tbsp mini chocolate chips
  • 8 small pieces of aluminum foil

Instructions

  1. 1.Have a round cake pan on hand and place 8 small paper cups in the pan ready to be filled.

2.Place the yogurt, chocolate milk, vanilla, and banana in a blender or food processor. Process until smooth.

3.Stir in 2 tbsp of the chocolate chips.

4.Sprinkle the remaining 3 tbsp of chocolate chips on the bottom of each empty cup.

5.Pour mixture evenly into paper cups. Cover tops with small pieces of aluminum foil and freeze for about 30 minutes.

6.Carefully remove the pan out of the freezer. Make a small slit in the middle of the foil with a knife and insert a popsicle stick in the center.

7.Freeze once more until completely firm. This could take anywhere from 2 to 4 hours.

8.When ready, peel off the foil, peel away the paper cup, and enjoy!
