Starbucks Chocolate Snack Cake

Here’s a quick and simple snack cake recipe from my dearest friend Regina that uses Starbucks coffee. A perfect balance of chocolate and coffee along with a lovely texture from buttermilk for the most wonderful silky texture.  Bake one of these moist and rich cake soon, you’ll love it like we do. Enjoy!

A message from Regina: A little confectioners sugar is all you need, but the same cake batter can be used as a layer cake with your own delectable frosting.  That is so true what Regina wrote. I have made this simple cake many times and it’s so rich with a deep chocolate flavor you really need nothing else. However, one time I did add a fluffy vanilla frosting on top for my husbands birthday cake. It certainty was a huge hit. This cake is total deliciousness!
