Sparkling Cranberry Crush Cocktail
When the holiday season comes around that means it’s time to celebrate with family and friends. There’s delicious food, decadent desserts and we can’t forget all that holiday cheer. Every year for the holidays I try to come up with a new cocktail my guests will really enjoy. This cranberry crush cocktail has to be something festive looking and of course, it has to taste divine too.
Since cranberries are a popular ingredient during the holiday season with everyone’s favorite cranberry sauce and cranberry bread to enjoy, I figured why not make a vodka cocktail where the star of the drink is cranberry? I tried this Cranberry Crush Cocktail recipe out with our dear friends who stopped by last Sunday and they loved it. I was so happy and knew it was time to share with all of you!
This cocktail was made with vodka. Gin will also fill in nicely. Also, a flavored vodka such as lemon or cranberry would be luscious in this cocktail. Make it a little different each time. The recipe is for one. So, that’s easy to do when making a few at a time. You can customize to your taste or the person you’ll be making this cocktail for.
Now, since this is a cocktail for adults only, you can still make a special mocktail for the younger crowd. Just don’t add any alcohol and replace the liquor with juice such as white grape juice or apple juice along with some flavored seltzer like lemon/lime or soda of choice. Sprite and Orange Crush come to mind.
