Festive Crunchy Marshmallow Balls – This easy and simple recipe has only 5 ingredients and is a lot of fun to make. They’re crunchy and creamy at the same time. Just right, enjoy!

Look how festive these crunchy marshmallow balls are. They can be for any or no occasion. Change around the colors for any holiday. I make these so often I could probably do it with my eyes closed. The last batch my son Josh did most of the creating. Go crazy with the sprinkles and chocolate coating. The skies the limit with these gems. Both kids and adults love these and they go really fast at parties and gatherings. You can make them any size, golf balls size or mini ones. Make a batch soon, you’ll know what I’m talking about after popping one in your mouth.

Festive Crunchy Marshmallow Balls

Ingredients:

  • 5 cups crispy rice cereal, I used Rice Krispies
  • 2 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 tbsp salted or unsalted butter, softened
  • assorted colors candy melts such as this Wilton set
  • assorted sprinkles, such as these

Fun to make and oh so delectable!

Directions:

  1. Place the softened butter and marshmallows in a microwave safe bowl, and microwave on high for 20 second intervals until melted throughout.
  2.  Add  rice cereal 1 cup at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
  3. Using an ice cream or cookie scoop, make little or large balls and set aside to firm. You can put these in the fridge for up to 5 minutes and no longer if needed.
  4.  Melt the Wilton Candy Melts according to the package instructions. Dip the top half of the balls into the candy.
  5. Place them on a piece of parchment lined rimmed cookie sheet and allow the candy to drip down the sides of the bites. Cover the tops with sprinkles while the candy before it sets up. Best when served the same day.

Enjoy the deliciousness!
