This is my newest recipe for Easy Cajun Cheese Crackers…
You don’t have to be following any kind of diet or way of eating to enjoy these cheesy, crunchy crackers. Whenever I serve them to my family or when company comes to visit, they get eaten up right away. After making the recipe again just a few weeks ago, I knew it had to be on my blog.
Friends and family love these..
A friend from out of town came to visit. We planned a little luncheon with a few of our other friends.
I ran to the market and picked up a few prepacked snacks to serve.
I picked up some fresh veggies such as carrots, celery, broccoli, grape tomatoes, cucumbers and whatever else that looked fresh along with the ingredients to make a few dips along with lots of fresh fruits to make make up a fresh fruit platter.
The one thing that was missing was a few homemade recipes that I knew my friends would expect from me. I’m always happy to bake and make some special treats for them when we all get together.
Cheese crackers everyone will love..
Everyone always knows I will have a dessert made but, this time there were these delicious homemade crackers too.
(I will post the recipe that was served for dessert and all the other dishes that were served too.)
It happen to be a very hot and humid day here on Long Island. The whole week was that way.
Originally I was going to serve the lunch by our new pool that I was very proud to show them. But, being so hot and humid, no one would be able to take the heat that day and the food wouldn’t be safe in the heat, even if it was in the shade.
My friends appreciated that the food was served inside and gave them an option if they still wanted to go swimming or just rest on a pool lounge, we could go outside after we were done.
As it turns out, no one wanted to go swimming so we sat in the air conditioned house which was delightful. We looked at the pool while we were eating, LOL.
What a wonderful and relaxing luncheon for dear friends that were getting together to relax, eat good food and just catch up with what was going on with each of us and our loved ones.
The day was a big success and everyone went home happy with a full belly.
