4 Ingredient Super Cool Pie

I call this a 4 ingredient super cool pie because it’s super easy to make and it’s cool and luscious when finished chilling in the fridge. It’s a favorite with my family and hope it will with yours too. Enjoy!

The best part about this pie recipe is it’s so versatile.

You can use any flavor of your favorite brand of gelatin.

I also counted the cold water and boiling water along with the three ice cubes as one ingredient. Well, they are! LOL!

For this recipe that’s pictured I used this super cool new flavor called “Fusion Melon” But, find your favorite flavor and go ahead and enjoy your way.

Try a new flavor each time you make this easy-peasy pie recipe.

Some other flavors that are great would be strawberry and lemon.

I have made so many flavors it’s hard to count.

Use two colors for a two tone pie. Now that’s cool.

Have fun and enjoy the super cool lusciousness!

How Is This Super Cool Pie Made?

Here’s The Easy Directions:

  1. In a large heat proof bowl,(these are the bowls I have been using for many years, they are basic and fantastic) add  boiling water to the gelatin mix.
  2. Mix together until gelatin is completely dissolved.
  3.  Add the ice and cold water, mix until gelatin starts to thicken. Remove any pieces of ice.
  4. Add the tub of whipped topping and whisk gently until combined.
  5.  Spread into the crust. Smooth out.
  6. Place in freezer for only 15 minutes then, take out and add remaining 1/2 cup whipped topping. Smooth then refrigerate at least 4 hours, or until set. If needed right before serving, place back in freezer for about 10 minutes then slice up!
