Brioche French Toast

Here’s an easy and simple recipe for Brioche French Toast. Using brioche bread makes ordinary French toast tasting divine. You won’t want to eat French Toast any other way after you’ve eaten this recipe.

This delicious recipe for Brioche French Toast starts off with brioche bread, hence the name.

What is the history of brioche?

From what I read about the history of brioche, it originated in France, dating way back to the 17th century.

Unlike white bread, brioche has a very rich taste from the butter and heavy cream.

Sometimes it’s even made with brandy and sugar.

A much higher amount of butter and eggs gives the bread its dark, golden color, flaky crust and rich flavor and if you haven’t tried it, you’re seriously missing out.

Sometimes brioche is compared to cake since the texture is similar. It can also be compared to challah bread probably because of its golden color.

So this brings me to the recipe for brioche French toast.

What is Brioche French Toast?

I’m sure everyone at some point has made French toast with white or whole wheat bread.

It’s good, but it doesn’t have that much flavor or texture since the bread is so soft and thin. You know what I’m talking about, right? We’ve all had our French toast fall apart at one point while trying to flip the bread over.

However, this recipe for Brioche French Toast is a whole different story.

You will taste how decadent and delicious this French toast is, right from your first bite.

All you need to make brioche bread is: eggs, butter, vanilla extract, half and half or whole milk, cinnamon, salt and a loaf of brioche bread of course.

It’s really quite simple to execute once you have these key ingredients.

Get ready for the best French toast you’ll ever try.

As for a beverage to go with it, you’ll want to sip a warm Copycat Starbucks Caramel Macchiato on the side with this delicious dish. They go so well together.

Or, if you want a cold beverage, you can try a Copycat Starbucks Double Chocolate Chip Frappuccino .  Both of these beverages can easily be made at home in about five minutes.

I hope you make this recipe soon and enjoy Brioche French Toast like my whole family does.
