4 Ingredient Raspberry Margarita Jello Shots – These refreshing “adult only” jello shots are so easy to prepare and make a big hit at any gathering.

I recently had these exact jello shots at a friends wedding party. They were cold and so refreshing. The weekend after we were having friends over for a light dinner. It’s summer and we all decided to make some appetizers along with some finger food desserts. Since this was only for adults and no children were here, I decided to make the jello shots we had at the wedding. One of my friends asked the caterer what they were made of. She was happy to write it down for us. These little gems only have 4 ingredients and that includes the water. When my husband brought these out, everyone was excited to try them. They were a big hit and on a hot summer evening they hit the spot. In case you are interested what was served, I’ll highlight at the bottom a few things we had. Everything was eaten up that night. Love simple recipes that taste so good and quiet evenings with great friends.

4 Ingredient Raspberry Margarita Jello Shots

Yields: about 15 to 16 shots

Ingredients:

  • 3 ounce package raspberry gelatin, regular or sugar free
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup tequila
  • 1/2 cup margarita mix
  • 2 ounce plastic mini cups with lids (any extra cups are great for packing salad dressing and ketchup into lunch boxes)
  • lime slices, optional

Directions:

  1. Add dry mix to medium mixing bowl. Add in boiling water. Gently stir until gelatin dissolves.
  2. Add tequila and margarita mix. Stir well.
  3. Have a large non slip serving tray or lined cookie sheet ready with the little plastic cups.
  4. Pour mixture into a large glass measuring cup like this one  (I use this for cupcake batters, pancake batters and so many other liquids)
  5. Pour into mini cups about 2/3 full. Carefully place tray in fridge for about 2 to 3 hours. I covered each cup with the lids they came with.
  6. Serve with sliced limes or by alone. Look how pretty they came out!

Enjoy the cool deliciousness!
