Five Easy Steps For The Perfect Hard Boiled Eggs

Now it’s easy to make hard boiled eggs that come out perfect every time. Check these 5 simple steps out!

 

Five Easy Steps For The Perfect Hard Boiled Egg

FYI: Nutritional value for one large hard boiled egg – calories 78, fat 5.3 g, carbs 0.6 g, protein 6.3 g

 

 

 

 

 

Directions:

  1. Place eggs in a single layer in a pot of COLD water. The water should cover the eggs by at least two inches.
  2. Bring the water up to a full rolling boil. Cover the pot. Let boil for 1 minute.  Now, turn off the heat and remove the pot from the burner,  let stand COVERED for 12 to 15 minutes. 
  3. Drain the water from the pot and gently place the eggs in a bowl of ice cold water to stop the cooking process.
  4. Remove the eggs after a few minutes and tap each egg a few times on the counter to see little cracks. Roll the egg around the counter until the shell is completely cracked.
  5. Peel each egg while still dipping into the cold water to remove any small bits of shell that may be remaining on each egg. Place on a paper towel to let dry off the excess water.
