Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 mandarin oranges

Instructions

  1. Rinse the outsides of 3 mandarin oranges with cool running water. Dry off with a paper towel. Have a cookie sheet or cutting board lined with parchment paper. Set aside. Peel the mandarins and section the slices. Set aside. Place the chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl. Leave out 1 tablespoon. You can add the small amount of coconut oil or leave out. Put in microwave for 25 seconds. Take out, stir, put back in for 20 seconds. Take out and stir again. If not melted yet, put back in for 15 seconds. Take out and add the remaining 1 tablespoon chocolate chips. Stir in. This will help temper the chocolate. Keep stirring until smooth and shiny. Dip half of each slice into the melted chocolate. Place each slice onto the prepared parchment paper lined sheet or cutting board. Before the chocolate sets, sprinkle a small amount of flaky salt over each chocolate covered slice. That's it, enjoy!
