Baked Apple Pork Chops

This delicious recipe for baked apple pork chops is simple to prepare with only a handful of ingredients. It’s a healthy and tasty meal the whole family will love. Enjoy!

Always look for a sale…

The other day, pork chops were on sale at my local butcher shop.

To be honest, this was the first time in a very long time that I have bought pork chops.

My family never expressed that they wanted me to make them again so, I didn’t bother. However, these chops looked so fresh and as I said they were on sale.

So, it was the right time to buy and try out a new recipe.

My friend Courtney gave me the recipe a few years ago and it was the perfect time to make it,

Well, it was a big success. My family loved the meal. On top of that, the recipe was really simple to make. I actually thought of her recipe while shopping at the next store I went in to.

Right next door to the butcher there is a fabulous fruit and vegetable store.

Seriously they have the best of the best in produce.

A little expensive to shop on a regular basis but when they have sales it’s so worth paying a little extra for top quality produce.

The fresh green beans were on sale as well as sweet potatoes. So, that’s what I bought.

A healthy meal was on its way. To make it really easy and simple it had to be made in one pot, pan, or baking tray.

The slow cooker was right on the counter from the night before and I wanted to finally make her recipe.

Always looking to change things up to keep the meals interesting.

So, this time around it was going to be a simple baking pan or rimmed cookie sheet just like her recipe said.

By cutting up the sweet potatoes in cubes I was hoping everything would cook together and be ready at the same time. It worked.

Try different kinds of meats, veggies, and grains once in awhile for a nice change of pace…

The meal came out fantastic.

We all really enjoyed this first time pork dish.

Check out this easy recipe below.

Boneless pork chops are the “other” white meat and they sure were tasty. You’ll see where the apple comes in to bring this dish over the top scrumptious.

A winner around my house and maybe in your house too!
