Making this milkshake is about as easy as it gets. You’ll simply blend and enjoy! It’s a sweet, refreshing treat that is ready in just minutes.

Step 1: Blend the Shake

Add the milk, ice cream, and peaches to a blender, (I just got that one and love it so much) and blend until smooth and thick.

Step 2: Pour and Garnish

Pour the milkshake into one large glass or two medium glasses and top with whipped cream and diced peaches. Enjoy!

Substitutions and Variations

  • Peaches – Make any kind of fruity milkshake you like with your favorite fruits.
  • Traditional Milkshake – Omit the fruit and use your favorite ice cream for a super-thick traditional milkshake.
  • Lactose-Free – Use lactose-free milk and ice cream for a lactose-free version of this shake.

Equipment

  • Measuring cups
  • Ice Cream Scoop, my newest find, that is superb, optional
  • Blender, this is my newest and most loved blender of all times!
  • 1 large glass or 2 medium glasses

Storage

This recipe makes one large milkshake or two small milkshakes, so you shouldn’t need to store them. If you do, however, simply pour the shakes into an air-tight, freezer-safe container and freeze for up to a month. To enjoy the shake again, place the container on the counter until it begins to soften a bit, then blend it to get the milkshake texture back.

What to Serve with Chick-Fil-A Peach Milkshake

You can enjoy this milkshake on its own as a wonderful way to cool down on a hot day. You can also do what so many people who go to Chick Fil-A do and enjoy it with your favorite summer foods like burgers, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, and the like.

Tips

  • Keep the milk in the fridge and the ice cream in the freezer until ready to blend so the milkshake will be nice and cold.
  • Using frozen peaches can make the milkshake extra cold on a hot day.
  • Dice your peaches and refrigerate them ahead of time so they’re cold when added to the milkshake.

FAQ

What makes a thick milkshake?

The key to a thick milkshake is the ratio of ice cream to milk that is used. Use 2 cups of ice cream to 1/2 cup milk for a super thick milkshake.

Is fresh or frozen fruit better in a milkshake?

It’s a matter of preference. Both taste delicious, however, frozen fruit will make the milkshake colder and thicker.

What is the best milk for milkshakes?

Any milk will work, but for the absolute richest, thickest milkshake, whole milk is the way to go. Don’t use heavy cream in the milkshake, though. While it might seem like thicker is better, heavy cream will clump up in the blender.
