How to make Shark Cupcakes
It’s not hard to make these baked vanilla cupcakes with cream cheese frosting, but be sure that you head to the printable recipe card below for all the ingredient amounts and specific details.

1. Make the cupcakes according to the box directions.
2. Bake and them them cool completely on a wire rack.
3. In a large bowl, mix the cream cheese frosting with the blue gel food coloring.
4. Once the cupcakes have cooled, top each one with the blue frosting and then add a gummy shark.

Expert Tips
- Don’t overmix the cupcake batter. Just stir until combined.
- If you don’t have a piping bag for the frosting, just put the blue frosting into a clean, sealable plastic bag and clip off the corner. This will work in a pinch!

Shark Week Cupcake FAQS
Absolutely! You can use chocolate, pistachio, or even strawberry!
If you have leftover cupcakes, be sure to cover them with plastic wrap or store them in an airtight container in the fridge. You can also freeze them for later, but I do recommend freezing them without the frosting on top.
