Malibu Butterscotch Schnapps Cocktail

This delicious Malibu Butterscotch Schnapps Cocktail is a rich creamy cocktail made with rum, butterscotch schnapps, and crushed butterscotch candy. It’s such a fabulous cocktail!

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces butterscotch schnapps
  • 3 ounces Malibu rum, or rum of choice
  • 4 ounces whole milk, half and half, or coconut milk would all work,  you can use any creamer of choice though. A vanilla creamer is delicious in this cocktail. I  suggest plain or vanilla creamer. Start with a smaller amount of the milk of choice, then add if you want your cocktail creamier.
  • 1 -2 tablespoons crushed butterscotch hard candies, you can use sugar free too
  • 1 - 2 tablespoons butterscotch syrup, or sugar free butterscotch syrup, both of these are optional for a bigger boost of butterscotch flavor

For the rim

  • Melted white chocolate or vanilla frosting, I used frosting from the small tubs found in the baking aisle at your local grocery stores, supermarket, Target, and Walmart stores.

Instructions

  1. Dip the rim of two cocktail glasses into melted white chocolate or vanilla frosting. Roll the dipped rims in a shallow dish with crushed butterscotch candy. Fill a large cocktail shaker with ice and the cocktail ingredients. Shake vigorously, then pour into the prepared glasses. Now, enjoy!
