High Fiber Protein Smoothie

This is a fabulous way to get veggies in your smoothie without even being able to taste them. Try this healthy and luscious high fiber protein smoothie. You’ll know what I’m talking about after just one sip. Enjoy to your health!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups fresh spinach (I use the packaged spinach because it’s already washed)
  • 3/4-1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 banana, frozen if possible
  • 1 tbsp flax meal
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder, I used Quest vanilla milkshake, whey/casein blend
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp Optional honey or real maple syrup for added sweetness
  • 3/4-1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk, soy milk or skim milk
  • 1/8 cup cold water
  • 1/2 - 1 cup ice cubes
