Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • tsp baking powder, make sure it's fresh
  • 1/2 tsp fine sea or kosher salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups Halloween sprinkles of choice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line two cookie sheets with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

Beat the butter, sugar, vanilla, and eggs in a stand mixer or with a hand mixer until combined.

Whisk the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.

Add the sprinkles to a small bowl. Scoop out balls of dough with a small cookie scoop and roll in sprinkles. Place the balls onto the cookie sheet and bake for 10 to 12 minutes until slightly firm around the edges.

    Try not to over bake.

Cool pan on wire rack for a few minutes then, slide the paper onto the the wire rack to cool more.

After about 15 minutes, using a spatula, place the cookies onto the cooling rack to cool completely.  Enjoy!
