Copycat McDonald's Shamrock Shake

For a most decadent milk shake that can and should be enjoyed year round, you must check this one out. Minty deliciousness in every sip, enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup half and half or whole milk, more if needed
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
  • 5 to 8 drops green food coloring, start with 5
  • whipped topping or whipped cream
  • green sprinkles/jimmies, you can save to use for Easter
  • drizzled chocolate syrup and crunched up Oreos, this is what makes it like the McFlurry, or leave out and keep it like the original Shamrock Shake
  • 1 or 2 maraschino cherry for top

Instructions

  1. 1.Combine all ingredients except toppings in a blender and blend on high for about 30 seconds.

    2.Stop, use a spatula to scrape down sides if necessary. Blend again for just a few seconds.

    3.Pour into glasses. Top with whipped cream and garnish. That’s it! Enjoy!!
