Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh blueberries, or see other options about such as blueberry juice
  • 1 green tea or regular tea bag
  • 1 tsp honey or you can use maple syrup
  • 1 cup cold water to be boiled
  • 1 cup or more of ice
  • 2 tbsp coconut milk or choice of milk such as almond milk

Instructions

  1. 1. Blend the Blueberries (If using blueberry juice, skip over this step and go on to step 2)

    2. Add the blueberries to a blender or small food processor and blend until liquified. Push the mixture through a fine mesh strainer and set aside. No pulp should remain below.

    3. Place the tea bag in 1 cup boiling water in a  heat proof measuring cup.  Let steep about 5 minutes or more for a stronger taste.

    4. Add the honey to the hot tea, then set it aside to cool in the fridge or freezer. Add the tea with the blueberry juice. Stir gently.

    5. Fill a tall glass with ice. Then, pour in the blueberry tea mixture. Add coconut milk. Stir and enjoy!
