Ingredients

  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup milk, I used 2 % dairy milk but, any milk will work. Remember though, the color might be slightly different for each shake depending on what kind of milk you use such as almond or oat milk.
  • 1 tsp  dragon fruit powder, more or less depending how much you want the dragon fruit depth and how you want the color to come out. Also, freeze dried strawberry powder and pomegranate powder is good too.  (For those of you that don’t want to put any added powder, you can use all natural food coloring.
  • 1 cup frozen Strawberries, for a thicker shake, add a few more strawberries, you can also throw in another berry such as blueberries or blackberries for a more purple color.
  • Whipped cream for garnish, aerosol, or homemade.
  • Pink and/or purple sprinkles, nonpareils, candy hearts, anything goes for garnish. Save these for Valentine's Day

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Make the Barbie Milkshake

In a blender, combine the milk and ice cream and blend for a few seconds. Then, add the frozen strawberries or mixed berries and dragon fruit powder or substitute. Blend until smooth and creamy. Serve topped with whipped cream and sprinkles. Enjoy!
