Ingredients

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup plain or Italian bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4-1/2 lb raw chicken tenders
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tbsp cold water
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 1/2-3/4 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 box pasta

Instructions

  1. 1.Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with foil and spray with cooking spray. Take chicken out of package and give a quick cold water rinse then pat dry with paper towels.

2.In three shallow dishes place egg and water mixture, bread crumbs and 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, and flour in the third dish.

    3. Coat chicken with flour; dip into egg mixture then bread crumb mixture. Place on cookie sheet.

4.Bake 17 to 25 minutes, turning over once, until chicken is no longer pink in center. Add sauce over chicken and top with grated mozzarella. Place back in oven for just a few minutes to melt cheese. While chicken is baking, boil water and cook pasta as per directions on box.

5.Drain pasta and put back in pot. Add sauce to pot and mix with pasta. Heat over low heat.

6.Place pasta on a serving dish, layer with tenders. Sprinkle remaining 2 tablespoons of parmesan over tenders.
