Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons or cold brew (Store bought or homemade) Or, 1 shot espresso or coffee decaf coffee works too
  • 1 1/2 to 2 tablespoons milk of choice, dairy, almond, oat, soy, all work for the recipe (add more if needed)
  • 3 tablespoons cream or half and half, or any creamer of choice
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla syrup (Regular or sugar free both work great, found in most well stocked grocery stores, Target, and Walmart) vanilla syrup missing from ingredient photo
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
  • ice cubes to fill the glass, make sure your ice is fresh, makes a big difference with taste.

Instructions

  1. To make the cold brew: Add the ground coffee beans with the filtered water into a clean, large mason jar or any glass jar with a tight fitting lid.

Mix gently. Close the lid tightly and let sit on the counter for at least 12 hours. Every now and then, mover the jar a little.

Strain the cold brew over a fine mesh strainer that you line with a cone coffee filter or cheesecloth. Do this over a large glass measuring cup.

Rinse out the jar, wipe the inside so there is not a lot of water left and no leftover ground coffee.

Now, pour the cold brew back into the mason jar, cover tightly and cold brew can be stored in the fridge up to 2 days. (Recipe can be easily doubled or tripled)

To make the pumpkin cream topping: Combine all the ingredients in a jar or glass measuring cup EXCEPT THE COFFEE. Mix for about a minute with a frother, (love this one) until the cream begins to foam. You can also use a blender for 20 seconds to foam the ingredients. (A mason jar or clean jar with a tight lid also works, Just shake, shake, shake) Fill a tall glass with ice and pour in the chilled cold brew coffee. Pour the cream over the coffee, don't mix in, leave on the top and garnish with cinnamon or leave plain. Cocoa powder could work too. Now, enjoy!
