Copycat Orange Julius

This refreshingly delicious copycat recipe tastes just like the one that is still served at some malls across the country and also some stands set up at some county and state fairs.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounce can frozen orange juice concentrate, partially thawed
  • 1 1/4 cup very cold milk, whole, 2 percent, or almond milk work
  • 1 cup ice cold water
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar or to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups  ice, make sure the ice is fresh, this makes a difference

Instructions

  1. Add ice in blender along with ½ cup of cold water to break up the ice just a bit.Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until thick and frothy. Taste for sweetness. Add more ice or milk if needed for consistency.Pour into glasses. That’s it.  Enjoy!
