Ingredients

  • 2 large apples, Honey Crisp, Golden Delicious, Granny Smith, or Gala are ones I suggest
  • 1-2 eggs
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp cold water
  • 1 cup cinnamon or plain graham cracker cookie crumbs, if you don't have cinnamon grahams, you can add a teaspoon of ground cinnamon or just leave out
  • 2 tbsp  granulated sugar
  • Caramel sauce to drizzle over each apple wedge, I used heated jarred caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse apples, core and peel (optional) Cut apples into wedges. Have three shallow dishes ready with flour, whisked egg and water mixture.2.    Dip each wedges in flour, then eggs/water, then into cookie crumbs. 4.   Mix cookie crumbs with sugar. Roll apples in cookie crumbs. Spray air fryer with a little cooking spray. 5.   Place prepared apple wedges into the air fryer. Cook 400 degrees for 5 to 8 minutes. Check and if needed put back in for another 1 to 2 minutes until desired crispiness. Drizzle caramel sauce over each apple.  Best when served right away. Enjoy!
