  • 30 ounce can ranch beans
  • 28 ounce can pork and beans
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 red pepper diced
  • 1 yellow pepper diced
  • 1/2 cup plus 3 tbsp BBQ sauce of choice
  • 2 cups light brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika or smoked seasoning
  • 6 slices thick cut bacon, cooked
  • sea salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1 slice cooked bacon for garnish, this is optional
  • parsley for garnish

  1. 1.Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 13 x 9 baking dish (love this baking dish, freezes well and comes with a lid) with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside.

2.Drain both cans beans and pour into a large bowl.

3.Toss in the onions and peppers. Gently stir with a large spoon to combine.

4.In a small bowl, combine BBQ sauce and seasonings.

5.Add cooked cut bacon into beans. Now, add sauce into bean mixture. Combine gently with large spoon.

6.Pour BBQ bean mixture into prepared baking dish. Spread gently to make an even layer.

7.Bake in 350°F oven for 75 to 90 minutes until thickened slightly. When done, spoon into individual crocks or serve from the baking dish.

8.Store leftovers covered in fridge up to two days.

    Enjoy the deliciousness!
