St. Patrick Day Chocolate Pretzel Rods

For a fun food craft to make with the whole family, try these. Great for giving as gifts to teachers, neighbors, and friends. They taste sweet and salty delicious!

  • pretzel rods
  • green M&M's
  • green candy melts, like Wilton
  • green and white sprinkles


  1. 1.Line a baking sheet with parchment or waxed paper.

    2.In a large glass bowl, melt candy melts according to package directions, or in 30-second increments in microwave, stirring between. When completely melted, continue stirring until shiny.

    3.Dip each pretzel rod into the melted chocolate and use a rubber spatula to smooth out. Let excess drip off.

    4.Dip pretzel rods into toppings or spread rods out on lined baking sheet and sprinkle with toppings.

    5.Place in fridge to set for up to 30 minutes. Trim if needed. Enjoy!

Recipe Notes

If you can't find green candy melts, use white chocolate and add green food coloring.
