Home-Ec Ramen Soup

A simple and tasty recipe that my friend Regina got from her kids. They liked it so much they now make it at home. It's delicious!

Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 cups water
  • 2 packs ramen noodles, I used chicken flavor
  • 1/2 cup chopped carrots
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 2/3 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 1/3 cup frozen corn
  • 1/3 cup frozen peas
  • 1 tbsp minced fresh parsley
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder, this is optional
  • parsley for garnish, optional

Instructions

  1. 1.Boil water.

    2.Add carrots and boil for 4 minutes

    3.Add celery and boil for 4 minutes

    4.Add mushrooms, corn and peas, then boil for 3 minutes

    5.Add the parsley and Ramen noodles, be sure to remove the season packets, onion powder if using, boil for 3 minutes

    6.Remove from heat and add in 1 season packet, keep on heat another minute or two, bring to a small boil.

    7.Serve hot, enjoy!
