A few of these recipe links are posted below this honey almond milk latte recipe. Both hot and chilled.

Also, I’ve included a link for an easy way (and I mean really easy) to steam or froth milk in the microwave. It’s three steps and 30 seconds, no machines necessary. And the best part? You probably already have all the ingredients you need at home.

I happen to use regular coffee for this honey almond milk latte recipe since I don’t keep espresso in the house. Sometimes at night I use decaf and I can report this almond milk honey flat white is as good as with full caffeine. I really can’t tell the difference.

The Difference Between a Flat White and a Latte

I decided to call this a honey almond milk latte since this is what most of us refer to these hot beverages as.

But if you’re curious what the main differences between flat whites and lattes are, here are the broad strokes!

Flat whites and lattes are more or less the same!

A flat white is, usually, two shots of espresso with a small amount of steamed milk and a thin layer of microfoam on the top.

A latte is either one or two shots of espresso topped up with steamed or frothed milk and a thin layer of microfoam on top.
