Simple Bacon Cheddar Ranch Dip

When it comes to easy-peasy recipes, this one is at the top of the list. This simple bacon cheddar ranch dip is a staple for any game day or gathering in my home. Everyone loves this creamy dip that takes no time at all to prepare. Whip one up and enjoy!

I’m always trying to create new recipes when family and friends visit.

The funny thing is, they seem to request the same recipes that I served in the past.

This one is a favorite of both the adults and kids.

I guess if you like bacon, you are sure to love this creamy and tasty dip.

Serve with chips, crackers, celery, carrot stick or even apples. The bacon and apple just seem to complement each other. Anyway you serve this dip it’s going to be a winner.

Simple Bacon Cheddar Ranch Dip

Yields: about 20 servings

Nutrition: calories 158, fat 14.3 g, sat fat 7.8 g, carbs 2 g, sugars 1.8 g, protein 6.1, fiber 0.1 g

What you’ll need to make this delicious dip…

Ingredients:

  • 16 ounces softened cream cheese, reduced fat works but not fat free for this recipe
  • 1 cup sour cream, same goes for the sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix, powder only
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 cup chopped cooked bacon
  • scallions/green onions for garnish

Three steps is all it takes to creamy deliciousness…

Directions:

  1. Cook the bacon and drain on paper towels, crumble or chopped up when cooled. Set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl using a hand held mixer, mix the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add in sour cream, milk and ranch mix.
  3. Fold in the cheddar cheese and bacon. Mix with a rubber spatula until all is well incorporated. Spoon into a serving bowl, garnish and serve right away or place in fridge until ready to serve.

Recipe Notes: Can be stored in fridge up to 2 days. Recipe can be cut in half for a smaller crowd.
