Roasted Cinnamon Pears

This simple recipe for roasted cinnamon pears is delicious for dessert or even breakfast. Serve this to company and see how everyone loves this pretty looking dessert.

Pears are always in season at the grocery stores and markets.

Since that’s the case, I can make this year round especially in the winter when the other fruits are not in season like peaches, plumbs, and nectarines.

But, I adore pears all year round. My family does as well.

That’s why there are always a few different kinds of pears in a large fruit bowl on my island most of the  year. Even when the summer fruits are out, I always have one kind of pear joining the fruit bowl for a nice selection.

Now, for this recipe, I  used bosc pears. I find it holds up in cooking and baking better than other varieties do.

The recipe is so simple and easy with only a few ingredients and less than five minutes to prepare these delicious pears. It’s a really nice weeknight dessert and also

great for company. These make a pretty presentation and you’ll impress your company for sure. I did! We had friends over a while back and this is what I served for the main dessert. I put a plate of cookies on the table but, this was the main attraction. Everyone was impressed and no one believed it took just a few minutes to prepare. If you like pears like we do here, make this easy recipe anytime. It’s warming and oh so delicious. Wait! I forgot to mention, for any leftovers, serve them cold from the fridge with a dollop of yogurt on top. Even cottage cheese is a good breakfast choice. I love this for breakfast. Straight from the fridge. Or, you can heat up for just under a minute in the microwave if you think you’ll like it warm again. Anyway is the right way  so, enjoy!
