Homemade Bagels

How cool to be able to make some homemade bagels right in your own kitchen. You can easily with this fun recipe. Get the whole family in on the fun and enjoy!

Grab the cream cheese and get ready to bite into the most delicious warm-from-the-oven homemade bagels.

The first time I made these bagels I couldn’t believe how easy the recipe was and how much fun my son and I had making them.

My husband called these bagels a labor of love. ❤️

It was really cold out on a Sunday morning and no one wanted to run out to get our usual Sunday morning breakfast at our local bagel café.

So, I looked on the internet for ways to make homemade bagels and came up with this remarkably easy recipe.

My son Josh loves an everything bagel and believe it or not, I had bought the everything mix from Trader Joe’s a few weeks before.

Thinking I would use it to season chicken.
which by the way, I did use the seasoning to make the chicken and it came out scrumptious.

I’ll have to make it again and put the recipe up on the blog. Note to Pam, make everything chicken and post to blog…

Now, getting back to these marvelous bagels, I had everything else needed to make these homemade bagels in my pantry. Basic ingredients like flour, salt, yeast, etc.

Look how amazing these came out!

We all loved them and now I’m looking forward to having company over one of these Sunday mornings to make a batch of these homemade bagels for them.

Try this recipe soon and don’t forget to top with your favorite schmear. My favorite is plain cream cheese with a slice of tomato right on top. My hubby and son like vegetable cream cheese with a thin slice of lox. These bagels are so tasty, butter alone would be just right too.

Do you know what would be just perfect with a homemade bagel? My “No Machine – 3 Step Homemade Cappuccino”.

It’s the easiest recipe for making cappuccino at home in your own kitchen.

The two make for the perfect breakfast, brunch, lunch, or anytime you want two delicious recipes that you made at home.
