Classic Frank and Bean Casserole

Here is a simple to make and oh so delicious recipe that’s sure to become a family favorite. Serve for a side dish or a main. All mixed together in one casserole dish for ease of preparation. A totally delicious Classic Frank and Bean Casserole.

Growing up, my wonderful mom Ruthie would make a classic franks and beans weekly since she knew how much all the kids loved it so much.

One day, she made the two into a casserole and added some other ingredients like ketchup and mustard to make a favorite even more delicious for a classic frank and bean casserole.

Since my family loves this classic frank and bean casserole as much as I did growing up, I make it for them anytime they ask and bring it along to barbecues and picnics.

When going to a pot luck dinner, this dish is requested every time.

After the first time I brought this classic frank and bean casserole, a bunch of my friends asked me for the recipe and asked me to bring it the next time we were going to get together for our next pot luck dinner. I’m always glad to hand out the recipe and ever since have been so glad to make this classic frank and bean casserole that my mom proudly served my family.

I always laugh when I put this dish out. I don’t know who is going to run to it first. Even though all the other delicious looking dishes are set out too. It’s the first to get eaten up!

I like making this dish on a busy weeknight since it’s so easy to throw together. My family enjoys the franks and beans as a main dish with a side of rice and a veggie or as a side dish served with chicken cutlets and a veggie. It’s a great side dish for barbeques and picnics.

Check out how easily this is made. I still use the casserole dish my mom gave me years ago. It’s so special carrying on traditions.
