This is my newest recipe for cookie bars.

Since we are right around the corner to Memorial Day weekend, I wanted to post a fun and really simple recipe that would be great for backyard barbecues, picnics, and any gathering.

Using a cake mix is genius when short on time…

What I love about using a cake mix is the obvious of saving so many steps when preparing a recipe. Using a cake mix can be very versatile. There’s so many different kinds of baked recipes that can be made with all different flavors.

Also, when using a cake mix you can add some ingredients  in addition to what is needed on the box. In some cases, you don’t even have to follow the recipe on the cake box as I did in this recipe.

Only a few handful of ingredients is all it takes to make these gems.

Change around the M&Ms for any holiday or occasion. Or, leave them off.

These cookie bars tastes delicious without any topping.

Anytime is the right time for cookie bars, especially when you find the easiest recipe for them and they tastes so good!
