4 Ingredient Crescent Mummy Meatballs

Check out this easy-peasy recipe for 4 ingredient crescent mummy meatballs. A fun meal idea the whole family will enjoy. It’s going to be perfect for Halloween dinner or anytime.

It’s great to come up with fun recipes you know the kiddos will enjoy.

You can’t beat a recipe like this one. With only 4 simple ingredients you have a delicious tasting dinner, appetizer, or snack that will take no time at all to put on the table.

Halloween is the time I like to serve these.

The kids are coming in from trick or treating and they have already stuffed themselves with candy and whatever else is in their giant Halloween goodie bags.

They surely are not going to want to sit down and eat a whole dinner on Halloween.

When I put these out, they grab a few and then I’m happy they are eating something substantial that they enjoy.

My husband and I like these too. What’s not to like?

Flaky crescents wrapped around a meatball, eaten as is or with any kind of dipping sauce of choice.

I usually serve these with jarred marinara sauce.

A couple of recipe notes: If someone doesn’t like olives, just leave them out. This time around I used frozen beef meatballs. A lot of times I have used frozen turkey meatballs. Even vegan meatballs taste delicious in wrapped in crescent rolls which by the way happen to be vegan.

Any meatball will work in this simple recipe.

Have fun making these with the kids and eat up!

How to make 4 ingredient crescent mummy meatballs…

Easy-Peasy Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees, place parchment paper on a lined cookie sheet. Set aside.

  2. Unroll crescent rolls onto a large cutting board or clean counter. Gently roll out to press the seams together. Cut in half then, cut into thin strips.

  3. Take the strips and wrap around each meatball. Place on prepared cookie sheet.

  4. Bake for about 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly golden. While the meatballs are baking, roll each piece of  cheese into small balls and place in the center of each olive.

  5. Take out of oven when finished baking. Placed the filled olives on each mummy. Gently press. If you need them to stick better. Use a little marinara sauce as the “glue”. That’s it! Serve with warm marinara sauce or any favorite sauce.
