Ingredients

  • 2 pounds lean beef stew meat, cut into cubes
  • 1 1 ounce package onion soup mix
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 5 medium to large red potatoes, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 cups baby carrots
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 2 cans cream of celery soup or cream of mushroom soup
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 5 tbsp cold water
  • 1/2 tsp ground pepper

Instructions

  1. 1.Add the beef stew meat to crock pot.

    2.Sprinkle onion soup mix over the beef and stir to coat the meat evenly. Sprinkle paprika evenly over the meat.

    3.In Add potatoes and onion. Layer over meat. Then, add the baby carrots.

    4.In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together canned soup, ketchup, pepper and water. Pour over veggies.

    5.Cook in your crock pot on low for 8 hours, or high for 4. Check that meat and veggies are tender. Enjoy!
