Ingredients

  • 8 Gala apples
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tsp all spice
  • 1 tsp whole cloves
  • 1 large orange, peeled and chopped
  • 8 cups cold water

Instructions

  1. 1. Add all ingredients except brown sugar into the slow cooker. Set on high. Cook for about 3 hours.

2.After the 3 hours, mash apples and orange with a potato masher. Add the light brown sugar. Stir gently. Cover again, lower heat to low and cook another 1 1/2 to 3 hours. Check after each hour if possible.

3.When finished, strain liquid over a mesh strainer that is over a large pot or mixing bowl. Press down with a spoon to get all the juices from fruit. Discard the solid pieces. Pour into mugs or store in a sealed container in fridge up to 5 days. You can also freeze up to a month. Enjoy!
