Copycat Starbucks White Chocolate Mocha

  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 tbsp half and half, heavy cream or use all milk
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup coffee or espresso, I used decaf, regular works of course
  • 1 tsp agave nectar, honey, granulated sugar or sweetener of choice such as Stevia
  • 2 1/2 tbsp good quality white chocolate chips or a white chocolate baking bar
  • pinch fine sea or kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • aerosol whipped cream for topping


  1. 1.In a small to medium saucepan on low to medium heat, add milk, half and half if using until hot, not boiling this is important.

    2.Add sweetener of choice, salt, and white chocolate. Stir until chocolate is melted. Take off heat. Add in vanilla extract. Stir once again.

    3.Pour into a large mug. Add whipped cream on top and enjoy the deliciousness!
